
Welcome to the Iranian Student Association at Mississippi State University (MSU)!
Iranian Student Association (IRSA) at Mississippi State University is a cultural association with a mission to acquaint the MSU community with the rich culture and traditions of Iran.
IRSA organizes a variety of celebrations and traditional events at MSU and participates actively in various international cultural and sports events at MSU and the city of Starkville.

IRSA is not associated with any of either political or religious organizations.
Nowruz Celebration with Live Traditional Persian Music. This year, our annual Nowruz celebration is accompanied by live traditional Persian music to be performed by Soheil Zolfonoon, son of the Setar Maestro, Jalal Zolfonoon. The event is scheduled for March 27, 2010 (6:00-10:00 PM).


Yalda Night celebration. We celebrated this traditional get-together on the longest night of the year on December 21, 2009. More info on Yalda can be found here.
